When you apply for admission to a medical university through AZMEC, you'll experience an application process that is fairly straightforward and easy. In fact, it's so simple and quick that we guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised. It's one of the many reasons candidates apply with AZMEC, and prefer to gain admission into a university abroad — because the process is so much simpler with the foreign universities we represent, and even more so in comparison to Indian medical colleges!
Summary of the Application Process
The long version of all the steps we (both the candidate and AZMEC) need to take is listed below, and it's overly descriptive, so here's a very short version (TL;DR) of the process needed to confirm admission to an MBBS programme at one of the premier medical university in Kyrgyzstan.

Preliminary Documents Verification
During this first step in the application process, we register your interest, confirm your credentials, get the required documents from you (in a format that's acceptable) and verify them. -
Submit Application to University
Our team in Bishkek handles this process. All of the work is done by us at this stage, and you, the candidate, will at most be asked to provide any documents that we may have missed in the previous stage. If any applicant documents need to be translated, or notarized, either locally or by the Kyrgyz Embassy in Delhi, we will manage this process with your cooperation. -
Confirmation of Conditional Admission
The University will likely confirm admission to the degree programme of your choice, with certain conditions. The main condition is that you are awarded a visa by the government. The other "conditions" are usually minor and involve translation of documents, maybe clarifications, perhaps further verification, payment of a portion of the tuition fees, etc. This is all dictated by the university but AZMEC will walk applicants through all of the details and help them with all the paperwork. -
Letter Confirming Admission
The candidate is issued a letter confirming admission and a short-term visa. Once you get to the university, you'll undergo a medical exam that's required to apply for the long-term annual student visa (only the first time).
Stage One - Preliminary Document Verification
- Carefully review the section here, "Prerequisites", to confirm that you meet all the requirements for your application to be successful.
- Prepare digital copies of all the documents listed in the section "Documents Needed by Applicant" because they will be needed for the next stage. If you don't have some of the documents, don't worry. We give you time to get them ready and you can submit them later.
- Register your user details and verify who you are by filling out the form we provide at XXX. This is really simple and you're only required to fill out a few personal details to verify that you are who you say you are.
- You'll be issued with a User ID after we confirm your personal details.
- Use your User ID to fill out our candidate admissions application form available at XXXX. You will be required to upload all your documents in this 1st stage of document verification. If you have any issues with the process, you'll find there's a help section that'll either resolve your queries or direct you to one of our consultants. If you're unable to provide any of the requested documents at this time, you'll be able to do this later.
- Once we've done a preliminary review of your documents, you'll be sent an email with a link that will direct you to a payment platform so you can pay for the "Initial Document Verification". If you have a referral or promotional code for a discounted price for this service, the total cost will automatically be adjusted when you apply the code on the payment platform. Though the amount listed for this service is in US Dollars (USD), the invoice will be in Indian Rupees (INR), using the exchange rate applicable at the time of payment.
- Once you've paid, you will receive another email with a link to a service contract that you will be able to conveniently and digitally sign online. This is the contract that outlines the responsibilities we have towards each other, e.g., timely delivery of documents, payments, rendering services, etc.
- Our team will then begin the verification process of your documents, which should not take longer than 5 working days if all required documents have already been submitted. If there are any documents that need to be notarized, attested or translated, you will be informed via email of these requirements.
- If you were unable to submit any of the needed documents earlier, you'll need to submit these as soon as possible. If we've asked you to change or fix any of your previously submitted documents, do so as soon as possible.
- Once we've verified all your documents to our satisfaction, and you meet all the pre-requisites, you'll be informed via email that you have sucessfully completed the "Stage One Document Verification" process. The email will also explain what else is needed from you, and what's needed of us, to complete the next step.
Stage Two - Submitting Application to University
- After you've cleared Stage One, you'll you'll get an email (as mentioned as the last point above) that will require you pay the "Final Document Processing" charges. This is an online process where you pay via a payments platform. This payment is charged by our US partner since this this stage of the work is mostly handled by our Kyrgyz-based
- The online invoice will also allow you to opt for one of our "Student Care Packages". We'd like to remind you that these services are completely optional, and your not opting for either service will NOT impact your application! Please follow the link mentioned here and make sure you understand this.
- On receipt of payment, we will transfer the your application and documents to staff in Kyrgyzstan. They will review your documents again and ensure everything is in order. If there are any missing documents, which should not be the case, they will inform us and we will in turn resolve any such issues with your cooperation.
- There are a few government and university related forms that need to be filled out on behalf of the candidate (you). All of this will be taken care of by the team in Kyrgyzstan.
Stage Three - Conditional Letter of Admission
- University then reviews documents and advises us of what documents need to be translated, notarized, etc. for the processing of the visa.
- Additional payments will be required from you by the university. This may include cost of visa processing, advance towards tuition, room and board, or a combination of all of these.
- We will discuss with you what are your options, how you may wish to pay, and any other issues.
- Once all payments due to the university have been made, you'll get a confirmation of receipt of payment from the university. If payment is made via AZMEC or our US partner, you will still get a confirmation from the university that they have received payment.
- University then confirms that all documents are in order and you meet their criteria for admission and issues a Conditional Letter of Admission in your name.
Stage Four - Final Letter of Admission
- With the cooperation of the university, our team in Kyrgyzstan will submit an application for a student visa on your behalf.
- You will be issued a 3 month visa, consider it a temporary student visa. Once a visa is issued to you, the university will issue an invoice detailing all required payments, what can be paid in advance, how payment is to be made, etc. You will be required to pay the minimum inidicated in their invoice. We will help you in managing this.
- Once payment is received by the university, they will then issue you with a letter by the university, that's Confirmation of Admission to the MBBS Programme. This letter will also cover many other details, like details relating to your dormitory room, date of joining, syllabus, textbooks you need, etc.
- The last step of the process — within three months of joining the university, you'll give a routine medical exam. The report is required to get the extended student visa, for which you will most likely have already paid. See "Student Visa Requirements - Documents Needed" for additional information.
- Congratulations! You're now a candidate for an MBBS degree from one of the top universities in Kyrgyzstan!
